About

We built it for
the businesses around the corner.

The cafés and the salons, the studios and the family-run shops — the places that make a neighborhood feel like one — deserve websites as good as they are.

For too long, putting a small business online has meant two bad options: pay a few hundred for a template you'll outgrow in six months, or pay a few thousand for a designer you can't reach when something breaks.

We thought there should be a third option. A website you assemble from professionally designed sections — like a kitchen built from cabinets, not raw lumber — that you actually understand, and can update yourself, forever.

From the founder

Hi — I'm Zaje. I started Plot after watching my parents pay an agency thousands for a website they couldn't update themselves. Small business owners deserve better tools than that — built for them, not for tech companies. Plot is what I wish they'd had ten years ago.

Who we are

A small team that cares about the unglamorous middle of the internet: the businesses that don't get TechCrunch profiles but make every street worth walking down. Based remote, building openly, every email read.
